Non-abrasive microfiber cloth, intended for the daily maintenance of steel instruments.
Hand perspiration is slightly acidic and salty. Left on the steel after a session, it initiates slow oxidation that first attacks the areas most played, i.e., the tone fields themselves. Yet it is precisely these areas whose geometry determines the intonation: surface corrosion eventually causes the tuning to drift. A thirty-second wipe after each session is enough to prevent this.
Stainless steel does not require any oiling. On nitrided steel, regular wiping remains the primary protection; any necessary oiling should be done with a dedicated product, never with food-grade oil.
Chaque produit bénéficie de la garantie légale de conformité de 2 ans. L'accordage des instruments est contrôlé avant l'envoi.

A handpan is almost never damaged by a single violent impact, but rather by the accumulation of minor neglect.
Sweat is slightly acidic and salty. Left on steel, it initiates oxidation that first attacks the tone fields, where the tuning is set. Wiping it down after each session is enough to prevent this.
This is the instrument's weak point: the junction of the two shells takes all the impact when it is set down or rubs against a wall. An impact at this spot can deform the shell and cause adjacent notes to go out of tune.
Flat, in a padded case. This is the only position that distributes the 3 to 5 kg of the instrument instead of having them borne by the edges.
Steel reacts to the abrupt transition from the cold outdoors to a heated room. Let the instrument reach room temperature in its case before playing.
