A high-end handpan can be identified by three things: the finish, the length of sustain, and the tuning stability over time. This collection brings together the most sophisticated instruments from the Lunveil selection.
The finish, first of all: even surfaces, clean tonal areas, no unwanted vibrations. The sustain, then: each note resonates and leaves time to build harmonic layers. Finally, the tuning stability: a high-end handpan maintains its accuracy after months of intensive play, whereas a mediocre instrument will go out of tune. Each piece is individually inspected before shipment, with a tuning report included.
For the regular player, the stage or studio musician, and the person who prefers a definitive instrument over an intermediate step. The models are available in 9, 10, or 12 notes, in the D Kurd scale, with a choice of 440 Hz or 432 Hz tuning.
Compare the models below: the exact note layout of each variant is displayed on the product page, as with any high-end handpan worthy of the name.
