A first handpan without compromise. AZKAR opens the Lunveil range with a warm timbre and stable tuning, designed for hands discovering the instrument.
Each Lunveil model is selected for a precise sound quality. For AZKAR, it is a round and generous sound, easy to play from the very first minutes.
Beginner level. The number of notes is chosen at the time of ordering: 9 notes to start with simple reference points, 12 notes to have a wider melodic range.
The D Kurd scale is the most played in the world, and the one we recommend starting with: its intervals sound right in any combination.
The layout is identical in 440 Hz and 432 Hz: only the tuning pitch changes.
440 Hz is the international reference tuning: choose it to play with other instruments. 432 Hz is a slightly lower tuning, sought after in meditative practice for its sound, which is perceived as softer.
Wipe the surface with a dry cloth after each session. Store the instrument in its bag, away from humidity and temperature fluctuations.
